Brush Creek Residence

Designed as a generational family retreat, this custom residence was envisioned as a forever home where children, grandchildren, and future generations can gather and create lasting memories. Situated on a family-owned farm, the new build is complemented by a thoughtfully designed barn that supports workshops, cooking classes, and community events, reflecting the owners' commitment to agricultural education and hospitality. The home's symmetrical four-square layout creates a sense of timelessness and order, while its inwardly focused design fosters comfort, connection, and everyday family life.

A dramatic double-height foyer clad in white oak serves as the home's architectural centerpiece, setting the tone for a warm and welcoming interior. White oak paneling, custom railings, and a series of arched openings introduce character and craftsmanship throughout the residence. Despite its substantial scale, the home was intentionally designed to feel cozy rather than grand, emphasizing livability over ostentation. Reclaimed pine flooring, dark pine ceiling beams, and an autumn-inspired color palette create a rich sense of warmth and permanence.

Shaker influences are reflected in the millwork and furnishings, while personalized details bring the family's story to life. A custom dining room mural incorporates beloved pets, former homes, the family farm, and the barn, with seasonal imagery that unfolds around the room. Symbolic elements, including a central family tree, a bird's nest representing the couple's four children, and a sunset ceiling mural featuring birds of prey, add layers of meaning and narrative throughout the home.
